We are a goup of young pantomime artist, members of Teatr Pod Kolumnami and/or students of Państwowe Pomaturalne Studium Kształcenia Animatorów Kultury i Bibliotekarzy (SKiBA). We're organizing second edition’s of Wroclaw Pantomime, Mime and Physical Theatre Convention "MIMESIS" 2017. We want to spread knowledge about pantomime and other realated theatre arts amongst Youth. We are crazy about this kind of theatre and we want to share our interest with others. We believe that pantomime is unique type of art and can express a lot more than words. In our festival we cooperate also with a lot of organisations as Polish-Japanese Friendship Foundation. We recommend Japanese Culture Festival, where you can see pantomime show about the japanese culture prepared by Yumi Sato. 

Last year, after participating in many theatre festivals we realised that there is no event dedicated to physical theatre, that’s why we organized first edition of Wroclaw Pantomime, Mime and Physical Theatre Convention MIMESIS 2016. We wanted to spread the knowledge about pantomime and other related theatre arts among young people. We believe that this type of theatre is unique and can express more than we you could coummunicate using words. Wroclaw, is one of the fewest city in Poland where you can learn and practice pantomime, so we want to make sure that theatre history of this city will be known in all Europe.

Second Edition’s of Wroclaw Pantomime, Mime and Physical Theatre Convention "MIMESIS" will take place in Państowe Pomaturalne Studium Animatorów Kultury i Bibliotekarzy we Wrocławiu. Our main goal is promoting the art of pantomime and share knowledge and experiences of this particular type of theatre with others artists. The whole festival is organised by the members of Teatr Pod Kolumnami and students of SKiBA 

We also recommend to see Yumi Sato performance, which will be the part of the Japanese Culture Festival, 10th of June in Wrocław. Yumi Sato is a member of FreEmotion group and an independent pantomime artist, who helps us in creating this festival. By supporting our festival, you can also support the work of Yumi Sato, who will be performing on our stage as well. 

We want to create really beautiful event, which will last in the participants’ memory for a long time. To achieve this aim we need a small amount of money. We tried to collect funds in the more formal way, but the authorities of the City wasn’t so eager to help us. Now we start this crowdfunding because, we count on the other people kindness. The main goal is to provide:

Awards for the best performers in the theatre competition (400zł).

Salaries for theatre instructors (400zł) 

Moremover, if we collect more money we could also pay for:

• Promotion of the festival (500zł)
• Small Welcom gifts for participants and guests (200 zł) 

 All collected funds will be used for the aims described above or related costs.4

140 zł - (35 euro) - We will publish your name on our facebook site + we will send you wallpaper with our photo + we will invite you to our performance as an special guest + you can eat dinner with members of Teatr Pod Kolumnami and ask them about their work

200 zł - (50 euro) - We will publish your name on our facebook site + we will send you wallpaper with our photo + we will invite you to our performance as an special guest + you will receive a handmade statuette from our festival 

300 zł - (60 euro) - We will publish your name on our facebook site + we will send you wallpaper with our photo + we will invite you to our performance as an special guest + you will receive a handmade statuette from our festival + we will book a place on our workshops for you

400 zł (100 euro) - We will publish your name on our facebook site + we will send you wallpaper with our photo + we will invite you to our performance as an special guest + you will receive a handmade statuette from our festival + you can spend an evening with members of Teatr Pod Kolumnami.

Teatr Pod Kolumnami work since 2013 and gather young people interested in pantomime, theatre and physical arts. It is a project create by Pantomime Foundation in Wrocław. 

Our Team

Małgorzata Furtak - cultural animator, psychologist, pantomime instructor working with kids, experienced in organizing social events. In MIMESIS responsible for coordination of the event.

Adam Banach - law student, pantomime actor (Teatr Pod Kolumnami), juggling instructor, student in SKiBA, in the MIMESIS team responsible for communications with strategic partners. 

Edyta Kasprzyk - polish filology student, pantomime actress (Teatr Pod Kolumnami), student of SKIBA, in MIMESIS team responsible for application process. 

Aleksandra Habowska - pantomime actress (FreEmotion), student of SKiBA, pantomime instructor working with kids and adults, in MIMESIS team responsible for promotion. 

Nikola Czerniecka - highschool student and pantomime actress (Teatr Pod Kolumnami), in MIMESIS team responsible for communication with participants.
